Gary Shankland

Gary has been an estate agent for over 35 years and has spent the last 26 years working in Otley and the surrounding villages, establishing himself as a very popular and well known local figure with an unrivalled understanding of the local property market that made him the go to estate agent for honest valuations and outstanding local knowledge. Gary grew up and still lives in Burley In Wharfedale with his wife and three lads. A keen lover of all sports, especially football, the time has come where playing now means with the veterans and enjoying watching his lads play for their respective teams.

Jeremy Barraclough
MNAEA – Director

Jeremy is another member of the management team, very well known by many in the Wharfedale & Aireborough districts. Jeremy commenced his estate agency life in 2011 joining the same firm as Gary and gaining an outstanding reputation of exceptional customer care as well as successfully managing award winning offices in Guiseley, Horsforth & Silsden. Married with two young daughters, Jeremy grew up in Menston attending St Mary’s Comprehensive school before heading off to university and returning to his home in Menston. Another sports fan Jeremy has been a long suffering Bradford City season ticket holder far too long, seeing the odd good time but more downs than ups!

Liz East
Senior Sales Negotiator

Liz is a dedicated and very well-known senior sales negotiator with nearly two decades of experience working in Otley. Renowned for her exceptional ability to keep sales transactions on track, she has helped a large number of the community find their dream home and consistently ensures smooth and successful completions. Beyond her professional life, Liz has a deep passion for horses, which she finds both therapeutic and exhilarating, she also enjoys walks in the Dales with her husband and their dog, a spaniel called Darcey. Her commitment to excellence and love for animals make her a unique and valued member of the team.

Emily Adams

Having gone into estate agency fresh from university in 2014, Emily has dedicated her career to helping the people of the Wharfe Valley find their dream properties, and built lasting client relationships along the way. Her excellent knowledge of the local market and real passion for people means she’ll always go the extra mile for both buyers and sellers. Outside of work, Emily lives in Addingham with her husband, son and dog, which means a lot of time outdoors burning off energy with walks and sports in the village, or further afield into the Dales

John Timms

John is a director at T&C Financial Services, independent mortgage advisers and has been based in Otley for over 20 years. Jonathan Barraclough

Jonathan is a retired Chartered Surveyor who worked locally for over 40 years as a surveyor, estate agent and company director in Guiseley and Otley. Jonathan has lived in Burley In Wharfedale and Menston for most of his life with his wife and has brought up three children who attended the local schools and he helps the team with accompanied viewings and administrative roles using his outstanding local knowledge and experiences to answer people’s questions and help our clients sell their homes.
